Description

A blend of specially chosen nourishing, organic cold-pressed plant oils, rich in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial compounds to soothe and calm redness and inflammation, restore barrier function and strengthen the skin tissues.

Medicinal plants and herbs are carefully chosen and slowly infused using traditional methods for 28 days, to provide potent antioxidants, vitamins, flavanols and polyphenols to nourish, soothe and protect skin tissues and regenerate cells.

Key Botanical Benefits

Organic plant oils have been chosen for their specific fatty acid profiles to correct underlying imbalances associated with acne, and sensitive skin. 

Chia seed oil is a super light oil, providing alpha-linolenic fatty acid for anti-inflammatory action. Rich in zinc that not only soothes skin, but regenerates tissues and even prevent scarring from lesions. It supports healthy barrier function and repair.

Jojoba oil has a unique wax-like structure that regulates the flow of sebum, assists in the healthy production of the skin's acid mantle to repair barrier function. It provides a light, non-greasy protective film that maintains moisture yet allows the skin to ‘breathe’.

Calendula is rich in natural healing resins, it soothes and visibly calms redness and irritation, supports barrier repair and deeply restorative to many skin concerns. It promotes the movement of lymph to help clear congestion.

Thyme is potent antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory, studies have shown it to be a gentle natural alternative, but as effective as benzoyl peroxide for treating acne. 

Passionflower promotes detoxification, is a natural source of salicylic acid, breaking up dead skin cells and clearing congestion, while its astringent action helps to minimise pores.

After cleansing and while skin is still damp with your chosen Luibh Essence, place 4-6 drops of serum into your palm, press palms together, then gently press on to face and neck, smooth with soft upward strokes if you wish.
