This balm is known in our family as ‘Dillon Balm’, as I originally formulated it for my son. Since he was a small child he has suffered with periods of extreme eczema, this balm has ‘rescued’ his skin many times over the years.

This soothing and deeply moisturising balm can help reduce the appearance of redness, swelling, and irritation while offering up a therapeutic dose of whole plant goodness to jump-start and support the skin’s own healing process. Use Rescue Balm as a facial moisturiser for inflamed, reactive, or dry skin. 

It can also be used as a helpful remedy for practically any skin ailment from extreme dryness, eczema, painful cystic acne, sensitive allergy-prone skin even minor cuts, scrapes, bug bites, or rash.

To further support skin healing this balm also contains whole plant infusions of Calendula, Comfrey, Yarrow and Lavender, all known as skin-healing herbs that support new cell growth and regeneration.

Tamanu Oil is the star of this preparation, its vibrant green colour is what gives Rescue Balm its distinctive green hue.

It is a unique oil in the plant world, the only oil to contain the newly discovered compound calophyllolide, which is a strongly anti-inflammatory and healing agent.

It has the ability to correct microbial imbalances, reduce inflammation and create an overall environment for healing.

To further support skin healing this balm also contains whole plant infusions of Calendula, Comfrey, Yarrow and Lavender, all known as skin-healing herbs that support new cell growth and regeneration.

Deeply restorative and healing to the skin, helpful for scarring and all forms of skin damage.

Anti-inflammatory, calming, and soothes the nervous system, which is often compromised alongside inflammatory skin conditions. Lavender promotes a healthy microbiome and prevents pathogenic bacteria from overpopulating the skin.

This oil is rich and moisturising, it contains the unique Punicic fatty acid which is highly nourishing for the skin, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, cell regenerating, it helps to increase skin elasticity, which is healing to skin barriers that have been damaged over time by inflammation.

Apply a small amount to minor cuts and scrapes or to areas of irritation.

Can also be used as a facial moisturiser for dry and irritated skin. Spritz with your chosen essence and while skin is still damp apply a small pea size amount of balm.

Rescue Balm has been tried and tested by many friends and family for a variety of skin concerns including eczema, extreme dryness, irritation, general inflammation and redness, but I cannot guarantee the same results for every individual.
