Signature Facial Experience

I have developed my Signature Facial Experience over 20 years. It combines years of study and research, refined over time to bring you more than a facial, but an holistic wellness treatment, that is a nurturing and deeply restorative experience for skin, body and soul.

At the heart of my treatment, is gentle flowing touch, with mindful, rhythmical movements to restore balance, harmony and vitality to the skin. By gently 'meeting' the skin, the tissues beneath are encouraged to release, relieving tension in the muscles and fascia. Using gentle touch that creates slight physical tension within the muscles and fascia of the skin, activating fibroblasts to boost collagen production, smoothing lines and plumping the tissues.

With an intricate understanding of the lymphatic system, I use gentle rolling, pumping and wave-like movements combined with softly sweeping brush strokes. This sends an impulse to the lymph system, encouraging flow, releasing blockages, and gathering and eliminating waste to decongest the skin. This creates space within the tissues for oxygen and nutrients to soothe, support and strengthen our skin.

This is a facial with a difference. My intention is to guide you towards a peaceful state of inner calm, quietening a busy mind to reduce stress and tension within the body as whole.

Each treatment is bespoke to you and your skins needs. We begin with a grounding herb and mineral foot bath, giving us time for a short consultation and I can begin to choose the best botanicals for your cleansing tisane, treatment mask and herbal facial steam.

Depending on the length of time you choose your treatment may include a deeply relaxing and restorative back massage to melt tension around neck and shoulders that can cause tightness, tension or a pulling down of the face. To stimulate the lymhatic system with in the entire body gentle leg and arm stretches are performed.
